Senior To Senior Program
The Senior to Senior Animal Adoption Program is a joint program between the Saratoga County Office for the Aging and the Saratoga County Animal Shelter to place senior dogs and cats, ages 5+ and older, with loving senior citizens, age 60+.
Program Guidelines:
- Must be at least 60 years of age and a Resident of Saratoga County
- Animal must be at least 5 years of age
Total Cost:
Dogs: $6 (for NYS Dog License)
Cats: Free
It has been proven in countless studies that seniors thrive from the companionship of a pet.
